Privacy & Safety on Facebook: A Guide for Survivors of Abuse

Safety Net: the Safe & Strategic Technology Project has launched its newest publication, a joint venture with Facebook, called Privacy & Safety on Facebook: A Guide for Survivors of Abuse.

Facebook contributed some amazing design work and also helped to make sure that this received some great media coverage. One of the best quotes we’ve seen came from NBC:

"While the guide may be particularly helpful for survivors of domestic violence, dating abuse, cyber-stalking and the like, it is also the clearest, most informative guide to Facebook's privacy and safety features we've seen in quite some time."

You can download the latest version from the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) website:

We thank Erica Olsen and all the hardworking staff at NNEDV for assembling this helpful guide.
