The long term adverse health effects caused by family violence on both individuals and communities as a whole is recognized as a public Health crisis.  Utah Domestic Violence is honored to work with doctors, nurses and other health professionals to champion the rights of victims and promote healing for survivors.   UDVC in partnership with health care professionals offers training to health practitioners concerning screening and resources and referrals for intimate partner violence.
